THE HUMAN BEING AND THE MUSHROOM BEING

Once upon a time, on a tiny earth-like planet, there lived a human being and a
mushroom being. They communicated with each other. Mushroom beings loved to eat fertilizer. Human beings loved to eat plants. Mushroom beings lived in the Dark. Human beings lived in the Light. Both of their Creators, told them to never mate with each other at any time, because it was forbidden to do so.

One day, the human being decided to mate with the mushroom being. The mushroom being decided to mate with the human being too. What a great idea! Let’s try something new! The new being was called the “Mated Being”. The mated being could live in the Dark, and in the Light. The mated being, decided to mate with the human being too. Other mated beings, mated with the human beings, and the mushroom beings.

Suddenly, all beings stole from each other. “War” was created, so these beings could protect what they owned. Different beings had been created from all of this mating that took place. Those beings were: human beings, mushroom beings, and mated beings. They became known as “Races”. All beings lived in the Dark and the Light. Some preferred to live in the Dark. Some preferred to live in the Light. Some preferred to live in both the Dark and the Light. These beings needed elected beings to represent each group of them. Some beings were appointed representatives. They were necessary to keep “politics” out
of crucial decisions. There were elected representatives, and non-elected representatives. Human beings grew plants. Mushroom beings created flavored fertilizer for human beings to use to grow plants. Mated beings created things that use the planet’s natural resources. The food for all beings was grown in flavored fertilizer to make the food taste good. More beings were born, and more food was grown to feed all beings on the planet.

As time passed, the planet became unable to produce enough food to feed all beings. Over time, all beings had become destructive to the planet. The survival of their planet was at stake. These beings had to solve this dilemma for their planet to survive. The appointed beings that represented the Dark, decided that killing most of the beings, was the solution to this dilemma. The appointed beings that represented the Light, decided that teaching all beings how to stop destroying their planet, was the solution. The appointed beings that represented both the Dark and the Light, decided that what was decided by the Dark or the Light, would be the solution. Those who would not stop
destroying their planet, were removed. The planet and all of its beings have survived.

LESSON THREE

EVERY DAY, SOCIETY IS TELLING US WHAT IS REAL AND WHAT IS NOT REAL. LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR. WHAT DO YOU SEE? SOCIETY SAYS THAT YOU DO NOT EXIST BECAUSE YOU CANNOT TOUCH YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR. WHAT YOU CAN DO, IS TOUCH THE MIRROR, BUT NOT YOURSELF. YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR. YOU KNOW THAT YOU EXIST. WHATEVER IT WAS, THAT YOU SAW IN THE MIRROR, DISAPPEARS WHEN YOU ARE NO LONGER IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR. DO YOU HAVE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE TO PROVE WHAT YOU SAW IN THE
MIRROR IS REAL? NO! SOCIETY SAYS THAT YOU ARE AN ILLUSION. ARE YOU AN ILLUSION? NO! ARE YOU REAL? YES! DO YOU EXIST? YES! SOCIETY SAYS THAT YOU ARE NOT REAL. SOCIETY SAYS THAT A CAR WITHOUT A LICENSE PLATE, AT AN INTERSECTION, EXISTS. WHEN THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN, IT DISAPPEARS. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE TO PROVE
THAT THE CAR WITHOUT A LICENSE PLATE, WAS AT THAT INTERSECTION. THERE IS NO PROOF THAT ANYBODY WAS ABLE TO TOUCH IT. THEREFORE, THAT CAR DOES NOT EXIST. SOCIETY SAYS THAT A CAR WITHOUT A LICENSE PLATE IS REAL, HOWEVER, YOU ARE NOT REAL.

EVERY DAY, SOCIETY IS TELLING US WHEN IT IS TIME TO DO SOMETHING. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE CAN GET A DRIVER’S LICENSE. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE CAN VOTE. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN THERE IS ELECTION DAY. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE CAN SMOKE. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE CAN DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN OUR HOLIDAYS CAN BE CELEBRATED. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE BECOME ADULTS. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE BECOME SENIOR CITIZENS. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN WE CAN RETIRE. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN TO START ATTENDING SCHOOL. SOCIETY TELLS US HOW MANY SCHOOL DAYS ARE IN A SCHOOL YEAR. SOCIETY TELLS US HOW MUCH WE PAY IN TOLLS ON BRIDGES, TUNNELS, AND TURNPIKES. SOCIETY TELLS US WHEN TO DO WHAT, WHERE, AND HOW, FROM BIRTH TO DEATH. WE SHOULD DECIDE WHAT TO DO WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW, WE WANT TO.

EVERY DAY, SOCIETY IS TEACHING US SOMETHING NEW THAT THEY WANT US TO KNOW. THERE WAS A TIME, WHEN SOCIETY WANTED US TO KNOW THAT THE EARTH WAS FLAT. TODAY, SOCIETY WANTS US TO KNOW THAT THE EARTH IS ROUND. WHY DOES SOCIETY WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THE EARTH IS ROUND? HOW LONG WILL SOCIETY WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT THE EARTH IS ROUND? WHEN WILL SOCIETY CHANGE ITS MIND AGAIN? IS THE EARTH FLAT OR ROUND? OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE? WHAT IS THAT SOMETHING ELSE? WILL SOCIETY CHANGE ITS MIND THAT THE EARTH IS SOMETHING ELSE? IF SO, WHEN? THE TRUTH LASTS FOREVER. A LIE LASTS AS LONG AS YOU BELIEVE IT IS TRUE. WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? WHY? WHY NOT?
